ChickenScheme - Room C125 (Saturday)
Chicken is a compiler for the Scheme programming language. It produces portable, efficient C, supports almost all of the R5RS Scheme language standard (soon R7RS), and includes many enhancements and extensions. The community maintains a comprehensive and steadily growing collection of libraries (eggs). Chicken runs on Linux, Mac OS X, Windows, and many Unix flavours.
Fedora - Room C119 (Sunday)
On this year's FrOSCon, the Fedora Project will hold a Fedora Activity Day (FAD) with talks, workshops and hack sessions. All visitors of FrOSCon are invited to join.

Lumiera - Room A147
Git-Labs
The distributed Revision Control System 'Git' gains more and more popularity
among developers and users. Lumiera using git since its very beginning as core
of its open infrastructure with the goal to lower the entry barrier to the
project. Therefore it is obvious to make a Git-Workshop this year. The goal is
to give beginners a introduction to git 'in practice' as well as discuss and
discover tricks and workflows with advanced users and to exchange experiences.
The whole workshop is open to interested people who can just step by to ask and
watch. In particular we will meet just after (Saturday 16:20) Scotts
"Wrangling Git' Talk (15:15 HS1/2) in our workshop room to try out what we've
just learned.
In case anyone developed interesting new ways to use git we like to invite him
to show these. Also we'd like any professional to join us in helping at our
workshop showing git to others.
MandrivaUsers.de/Mageia - Room C219
MandrivaUser.de is the German community platform for users of the 'Mandriva Linux' distribution.
Next to the forum - the core of MandrivaUser.de - the projecz provides a wiki, a package repository and Magdiva, a magazine in pdf format, published several times a year.
In the Mageia project room several smaller lectures about the Mageia project and the distribution will take place.
Among others one lecture about the basics of building rpm packages. Furthermore the room will provide the possibility for discussions about the Mageia projects as well as discussions with other distribution projects.

Perl - Room C125 (Sunday)
Perl is a great programming language that provides flexibility, power and a great community to the programmers. The language is used in many areas - system administration, simple desktop applications and big websites.
PHP - Room C118
For the sixth time there will be a track full of PHP related talks in the PHP room. Moreover we will also offer a space for discussions, hacking and chatting at the conference.
Members of the PHP Usergroup Dortmund, as well as many other usergroups (like Hamburg, Cologne/Bonn, Bielefeld,...) will be available in the PHP room for technical questions and discussions all the time and are looking forward to meet all of you PHP and web enthusiast in reallife.

PostgreSQL - Room C119 (Saturday)
The German PostgreSQL User Group will held a day of presentations on PostgreSQL in the devroom. These lectures are partly technical, but we will also have practical talks.
Python - Room C117
The Python Community presents talks, hands-on trainings and exchange related to the Python Programming Language, the Django Web Framework, the Open Source CMS Plone together with component based development with Zope. The room is managed by the German Django Community, pyCologne (Python User Group Cologne) and the DZUG e.V. The activities are coordinated with the Python talks during the FrOSCon 2011 and the exhibition stands of the Python community.
