FrOSCon 5 - August 21st/22nd, 2010

Free Software and Open Source – these are the topics of FrOSCon (Free and Open Source Software Conference). The computer science department of the University of Applied Sciences Bonn-Rhein-Sieg, supported by LUUSA and FrOSCon e.V. are yearly presenting an exciting programm with talks, workshops and an exhibition the third weekend in August. The social event, that takes place saturday night gives you the opportunity to exchange opinions with other visitors, speakers or volunteers. 2010 the fifth conference will take place on August, 21st and 22nd.

FrOSCon organizes a "FrOSCon Creative Contest"

The theme for the contest is the topic "Frog" and you should deliver a result as creative as possible.

This could be a video, an embroidery design, a light-installation or, …
There are no strict rules, you can be as creative as possible, you just have to convince the FrOSCon jury.
We expect that a documentation / instruction / source code of your work is licensed under a free license, as outlined by http://www.opensource.org/licenses.

The three most creative results will be donated with attractive non-cash prizes:

1. Prize: non-cash price about 300 Euro
2. Prize: non-cash price about 200 Euro
3. Prize: non-cash price about 100 Euro

The participants and their contributions will be presented during the FrOSCon social event on Saturday, August 22, 2009.

Please submit your contributions to fcc@froscon.org. The deadline is August 9th, 2009.

We will provide a trac development platform to document and develop your project.
